Alaska State Troopers confirms two Haines residents are still missing Thursday morning after a mudslide tore through Beach Road. All other have been located safe. State geologists are en route to the slide zone to determine the risk of searching the mudslide.

My thoughts and prayers to all in Haines. My heart goes out to the two family’s whose love ones have not been found. My husband and I loved living in Haines for 10 years and I found out this morning from my granddaughter that Jenae Larson was a classmate and friend from college.
