The final ballots have been cast for the Haines Borough Municipal elections. Two seats on the Haines Borough Assembly were up for election this year. According to the preliminary results, William Prisciandaro received the most votes among candidates for assembly. However, 50 votes have yet to be counted. The race between the other three candidates for the remaining seat is too close to call. Prisciandaro visited KHNS to give his take on this year’s elections.

The final results of the Haines Borough municipal election will be certified on Tuesday.
