There are two three-year terms and one one-year term up for grabs.
Michael Fullerton, Andrew Gray, Brenda Josephson, Diana Lapham, Sean Maidy and Stephanie Scott have put their names in the running.
The Haines mayor’s race is also contested. Incumbent Jan Hill is being challenged by political newcomer Joanie Wagner.
Also on the ballot are four school board seats. But, only three candidates have put their names into the running. Sara Chapell, Brian Clay and Anne Marie Palmieri are all incumbents.

Polls are open tomorrow Oct. 3, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Precinct #1 polling station is the ANB/ANS Hall at the corner of First Avenue and Willard Street. Voters in Precinct #2 cast votes at the Klehini Valley Fire Department on Mosquito Lake Road.
