Kyle Clayton started his journalism career as a radio reporter for WFIU in Bloomington, Indiana. He later moved to Alaska where he worked as a reporter for the Petersburg Pilot, eventually moving to Haines where he owned and operated the Chilkat Valley News for six years. Kyle is excited to return to where he got his start: public radio. As an Army veteran, he values the sense of community and camaraderie public radio offers to its listeners. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, skiing, packrafting and spending time with his wife, Ramie, children, Piper and Callahan, and big goofy dogs, Little Brody and Willow.
