The deadline to register to vote is Sunday, September 5

The deadline to register to vote in Haines or Skagway Municipal Elections on October 5 is this Sunday, September 5.

You can register to vote at voterregistration.alaska.gov, in-person at your borough building, or call the Alaska Department of Elections at (907) 465-3021.. If you’ve moved in or out of town since the last election, or have not voted in the last two years, you may find you are not properly registered. Check your voter status at myvoterinformation.alaska.gov.

Early voting starts Monday, September 20, through Friday October 1.
