School is right around the corner for students in Haines. This year students will have a new superintendent. Roy Getchell has been working with the Haines School Board as he transitions into his position as superintendent. Recently, KHNS spoke with Getchell about his new job.
Getchell says that although he arrived only five weeks ago, he has wanted to work in education in Haines for a long time.
