Skagway Emergency Operations Center has extended its shelter in place order by a week after a third active case of COVID-19 was identified on November 27.

According to a press release, the EOC is extending the shelter in place until 6 p.m. Friday, December 4. Under a shelter in place, residents are asked to limit activity, travel, and business functions to only the most basic and essential needs. The EOC is asking residents who are notified of a positive result from a COVID test that was not performed at the clinic to contact the clinic at (907) 983-2255 as soon as possible.
