Representative Sam Kito III is visiting Upper Lynn Canal in September.
Kito currently represents House District 33. That includes Skagway, Haines, Klukwan, Gustavus, Excursion Inlet, downtown Juneau and Douglas. He is not seeking re-election this fall.
Earlier this month, Douglas resident Sarah Hannan won the Democratic primary for House District 33. She’ll face off against Independent candidate Chris Dimond in the general election.
Kito will attend assembly meetings in Skagway and Haines. He’ll be in Skagway for the Sept. 6 assembly meeting, and in Haines on Sept. 11.
Kito isn’t visiting for a particular reason, aside from sharing updates and hearing from constituents.
