The Lady Panthers will compete at the basketball state championship. As KHNS’s Melinda Munson reports, with a strong defense and accurate shooting skills, hopes are high for the Skagway School team.
And, Haines wrestlers traveled to Fairbanks over the weekend for the middle school State Tournament. The team had three girls and three boys earn state honors in their weight classes. And, as KHNS’s Jenn Shelton reports, heavy snow forced the team to charter a ride from a local tender to make it home.
