For this edition of Lynn Canal Voice the KHNS News Department spoke with local students, journalists and authors about writing in the Upper Lynn Canal. In the first segment, students from the Haines School tell us about the personal narratives they wrote for the University of Alaska and Anchorage Daily News Creative Writing Contest. In the second segment, the publishers of the Chilkat Valley News and the Skagway News discuss the Upper Lynn Canal’s newspaper industry. In the final segment of the show, Caroline Van Hemmert tells us about her new book The Sun is a Compass.
