This special edition of Lynn Canal Voice with the KHNS Local News we discuss the one year anniversary of the disaster in Haines, the storm recovery effort, mental health and strategies for coping with trauma and the feelings that may come up at the anniversary.

We’re joined by Sara Chapell with the Haines Long Term Recovery Group, Matt Jones pastor with the Port Chilkoot Bible Church and on the Haines Long Term Recovery Group’s mental and spiritual health committee, and George Kirchner, a Fairbanks-based therapist and disaster mental health manager with the Red Cross.
