KHNS is excited to welcome Mike Swasey of Skagway to the News Team. Mike has been in broadcasting since his college days in Iowa and Boston with some interesting detours into the restaurant and tourism businesses and a volunteer DJ at KHNS since 2009. Mike will be working with KHNS Senior Reporter Henry Leasia but will be based in Skagway covering all the interesting and complex news that is Skagway.
In order to get the Skagway studio ready and give Henry time to work closely with Mike, we will have limited news over the first two weeks of March, beginning March 4th and 5th and going thru the 12th of March. Our morning host, Zachary James will also be out on the 4th, 5th and 8th of March.
