Testing is available for those concerned about the potential spread of COVID-19 as a result of the Southeast Alaska State Fair.
In Haines, the SEARHC Clinic offers free symptomatic testing for patients, though non-patients may be charged.

In Klukwan, free COVID testing is available from 10:15-11:40 AM Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Klukwan Clinic.
In Skagway, the Dahl Memorial Clinic is offering COVID testing at no charge until September 1. For more information, or to schedule an appointment call (907) 983 – 2255 during business hours, or (907) 983 – 2025 after hours.
The Skagway Traditional Council also offers testing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30pm until 7pm free of charge. Appointments are also available at 907-983-4068.
The CDC now recommends that due to the Delta variant, even fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors if they live in areas with significant or high community spread of COVID. Officials advise the public to continue to wash your hands, practice social distancing, and wear a mask in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
