A rewrite of the Haines Comprehensive Plan has been in the works for over a year now. The Haines Planning Commission has been working closely with the contractor that has conducted the surveys and interviews that form the basis for the plan. The Commission will review the plan at its Thursday meeting, and possibly send it to the Borough Assembly for approval. We spoke with Commission Chair Patty Brown.
