After trying for a few years, Haines resident Knikki Cinnoco and 8 other friends managed to get a permit to raft the Grand Canyon. Their three week trip in March was the adventure of a lifetime. Deep in this large crack in the earth they had no idea that a global pandemic was rapidly changing the outside world. Cinnoco shared her thoughts on the experience with KHNS.
