The last votes for the recent election in Haines were canvassed last night at the borough assembly meeting. The final count brought no surprise. Alain d’Epremesnil has this story
Gabe Thomas will retain his seat for another three years.
Ben Aultman-Moore will replace Paul Rogers , for a three year term.
Jerry Lapp fills the seat vacated last month by Kailyn Kirby, which is up for reelection next year.
Also up for reelection next year are Cheryl Stickler and Mayor Doug Olerud,
Debra Schnabel and Tyler Huling’s terms will expire in two years.
The election results will be certified at the next assembly meeting, on October 25th.
The school board seats go to Michelle Sloper and Keely Baumgartner.
Also sitting on the school board are Michael Wald, Kevin Shove, Shannon Dryden, Brian Clay, and Anne Marie Palmieri.
