The candidate list for the coming municipal elections in Haines is slowly growing.
As of Thursday afternoon, Thom Morphet alone had filed for Mayor.
Jerry Lapp, Craig Loomis and Burl Sheldon have filed for assembly. There are three assembly seats open.
Richard Clement, Dan Shultz, Eric Holle [haw-lee] and Joe Parnell have filed for seats on the planning commission.
And no one has filed for the three open seats on the school board.
The filing period ends on Sunday.
