  • 0936: A resident of Beach Road reported the game camera on the Battery Point Trail had been removed from the tree where it was mounted and is laying on the ground. The Park Ranger was advised.
  • 1128: A caller reported receiving a fraudulent call from someone claiming to be with the IRS. The caller stated he reported the call to the IRS.
  • 1210: An automated dial-in alarm was received from the Water Treatment Plant. Public Works was advised.
  • 1448: A caller reported a motorcycle was parked in a handicap zone on Main St. HBPD responded and issued a verbal warning to the rider.
  • 1818: A resident of Deishu Dr. reported apartment residents yelling at each other. Another caller who was one of the apartment residents, requested officer assistance. HBPD responded, resulting in the arrest of Phillip Jackson 64, for Assault IV and Assault on a police officer. Jackson was lodged in the Haines Rural Jail Facility.
