Margaret Friedenauer – News Director
Margaret has worked as an Alaska journalist for 12 years. She joined KHNS in 2012. Margaret is known for her straightforward and unbiased reporting style. Margaret’s nightly newscasts and breaking news coverage have won awards from the Alaska Press Club.
Emily Files – News Reporter
Emily comes to KHNS from Ketchikan’s KRBD Radio, where she worked as an education reporter and morning host. In Ketchikan, Emily reported on everything from a bear interrupting a cross country race to what goes into school lunches.
